This Blog honors my wife, Gwendolyn Ann Bayerl, who died on November 12, 2010. It also honors the years of love that we enjoyed and is a tribute to our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. We all benefited from her love, care and support in ways she never imagined.

Silent Sunday
I mean no disrespect of Gwen; a good use for many of the golf balls I've found. Please comment.
Disrespect? Of course not, John. It made me smile and, while I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Gwen personally, I suspect it has made her smile, too.
Besides it's a wonderfully sustainable thing to do with all of those golf balls - so it's a good thing for the environment, too!
Looks like you pitched each one of those golf balls into the perfect spot, John!! A lasting (those balls have a half-life of around 4,000 years) tribute with your wonderful sense of humor (which of course will also last forever)!

I saw the following quote and thought of you - especially with the Gwen's golf-lined garden:
Give me the fresh air, a beautiful partner, and a nice round of golf… and you can keep the fresh air and the round of golf.
All things loved!
